Becoming a Tutor

Concordia students have the opportunity to gain new skills by tutoring their peers. This is a way to explore an interest area, such as teaching or psychology, if you are uncertain about a major. This position also allows you to connect with other students, practice workplace skills, and enjoy the additional benefits of increasing your understanding of the material.

This is a paid student worker position. If you are interested in becoming a Peer Tutor, please see the posting on Handshake.

After you submit your application to Tutoring Services, the Director of Academic Support will schedule an interview with you.  If you are selected, you will also be asked to complete the on-line training module by a specific deadline.

The hours of this position are flexible.  You and your client will determine a schedule that works for you!
