The Office of Career Development offers three assessment tools for student application to their academic and career decisions. Each assessment considers a unique aspect of the human experience: interests, personality, and strengths.  All assessments are offered in conjunction with a career advising appointment.

Assessments are not the magic answer, but they do provide ways to dig deeper into understanding how your personality, interests, skills and values relate to your choices of major and career direction.

The MBTI is the most widely used assessment for understanding normal personality differences.  It is a 20-minute online assessment that can be applied to a wide variety of life areas, including academic and career decisions.
