Concordia University, St. Paul has been a Laptop University since 1997.  In May 2008, Concordia signed a 3 year lease with Lenovo to custom build the R61 model laptop to meet Concordia's technology standards.  This provides many substantial technological updates for Faculty, Staff and the Students of Concordia.  Concordia is an IBM/Lenovo certified repair site and is able to provide support and damage repair to all equipment leased from IBM/Lenovo.

The laptop comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows XP SP3 and contains and Educational Software Package with Microsoft Office 2007.
