Follies of Science to Highlight National Library Week
Join the Library as it celebrates National Library Week (April 8-14) with a book talk and multimedia presentation by author and Concordia professor Eric Dregni (and his brother Jonathan) called 'Follies of Science', which will discuss yesterday's visions of the future. The presentation explores the utopian promises and other bizarre predictions that never came true such as; radium suppositories, blimp superhighways, mile high buildings and foam homes.
The Dregni's talk will be on the main level of the Library Technology Center on Wednesday, April 11 at 12 p.m.
