Class "A" Website

Concordia University was recognized recently by the National Research Center for College & University Admissions (NRCCUA) when it ranked Concordia University, St. Paul’s website #44 out of 3,000 other institutions on the NRCCUA’s Enrollment Power Index (EPI).  The EPI is an annual research project aimed at helping institutions measure the effectiveness of their websites in supporting the admission process.

“EPI is a statistical, graded measure of a college or university website’s ability to take students from prospect to applicant status through a series of research-validated benchmarks,” read the NRCCUA announcement.  “It serves as an indicator that a college or university site is meeting or exceeding high standards of web functionality and design. Today’s high school students have come to expect the ability to easily navigate a site and have access to all of the information they need to make decisions. This is the most critical lesson that can be learned from the EPI report and recommendations. If your site isn’t promptly providing what the students need, they will go to other websites that are.”  Now in its ninth year, the NRCCUA EPI research project has evolved into a highly accurate measure of the investment colleges and universities have made in their admissions websites. The research consisted of website ratings by more than 3,000 college-bound high school students and the evaluation of more than 3,000 websites.  The research evaluated both state and private colleges and universities.
