Meet Our Staff

Dr. Miriam Luebke is Vice President for Student Services at Concordia University. In this role, she oversees many of Concordia’s administrative and student support services functions. She also enjoys interacting with students in the classroom as a first year seminar instructor. Miriam has served Concordia in a variety of roles since 1994.
Dr. Luebke has taught face-to-face and on-line courses in psychology, human services, first-year seminar, and personal assessment. She has presented on first-year experience programs, learning styles, and various assessment topics at national and regional conferences. Miriam holds a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies from Valparaiso University, an M.A. in linguistics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Psy.D. (doctor of psychology) from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.

Berne Christiansen currently serves as Project Coordinator for Student Services at Concordia. In this role, he works on a variety of special projects for the division including orientation, assessment and communications. He is currently a student in the M.A. in Leadership in Student Affairs program at the University of St. Thomas.
Berne holds a B.S. in English and a B.A. in Political Science from Bemidji State University. While at Bemidji State, he was an active member of the Student Senate and served on the board of the Minnesota State University Student Association. He later worked in higher education at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
Berne is a board member of the Minnesota College Personnel Association (MCPA). He is also a member of ACPA, NASPA, and the Minnesota Association on Higher Education and Disability (MnAHEAD).

Katy Davis is the Student Assistant for our office. She is a 5th year student and a Director of Christian Outreach major.
