Bush Faculty Development Program
Through funds provided by the Bush Foundation, the Office of Service-Learning offers a faculty development program for interested faculty to learn in depth about the practical and theoretical issues of service-learning. Six faculty each year are invited to participate as a team, working together as a cohort to learn about service-learning through doing service-learning themselves and participating in monthly seminars while creating (or adapting) a syllabus to incorporate service-learning. Participating faculty are expected to implement their new syllabus within the following year and help mentor new Bush service-learning faculty as they go through the program. For more information, contact the Office of Service-Learning.
