Paid Leave Time (PLT)
PLT Benefit Summary
PLT at Concordia provides time off from work with pay due to illness, vacation, or personal convenience.
- PLT rolls over each year
- PLT balances are available on the Bear Path under "Employee Services" --> "Leave Balances"
- Paid Leave Time is claimed through the online timesheet system for all hourly and salaried staff
Accrual Details
Full-Time Regular Hourly Staff
- 4.6 hours per pay period
- Accrues to 120 hours (15 days) per year
- Maximum 240 hours in PLT bank (6 weeks)
Part-Time Regular Hourly Staff
- Accrues based on Full Time Equivalency (FTE)
- FTE 50% or greater = 4.6 hours x FTE
- FTE 49% or less = no benefit
- Maximum 120 hours in PLT bank
Temporary Staff
Salaried Staff
- 6.15 hours per pay period
- Accrues to 160 hours (20 days) per year
- Maximum 320 hours in PLT bank (8 weeks)
All Faculty
- PLT is not accrued or tracked for members of the faculty
- Leave is determined by Faculty Policy
