General Benefits
General Benefits are available to all CSP employees and are generally tied to presentation of a valid CSP ID.
They include:
- Use of the University library
- Access to the Gangelhoff Center and Bear Den for personal fitness
- MERSC Discounts (see below)
- Discounted or free access to CSP sporting & arts events on campus
- 10% off of all purchases at the University bookstore
- Discounts at campus dining facilities through the ID Card Debit System (contact cardservices@csp.edu for more details)
MERSC stands for Minnesota Employee Recreation & Services Council. All CSP employees, by virtue of their employment at Concordia, are members and are eligible for any discounts afforded by this organization. All that is needed to take advantage of this benefit is to show your Concordia ID card at the sponsored event.
MERSC discounts are advertised in the CSP Update and on the Employee Services Board on the 2nd floor of Meyer Hall (near the HR Office - MH 218)
