Health Services

We can be your first contact when feeling ill, injured or needing any health assistance. Upon admission we require a medical history form to be completed in order that we may plan for your health care needs and provide vital information if an emergency should arise. State law also requires that we have your immunization record. These documents are confidential records that are kept on file in the Health Center and none of the information contained in the health history will be released to others without your consent.

All students with special health needs and/or chronic illnesses need to contact the nurse when enrolling in order to formulate and maintain a plan to meet the health needs.

 Health Services is staffed by an RN who works in consultation with a local clinic.

Services include:

• First Aid
• Illness
• Injury
• Health Information
• Health Education
• Dental and Medical Referrals
• Blood Pressure Screening/Monitoring
• Vision Screening
• Some over the counter medications
• Some lab tests
• Some immunizations

Most services are free. A minimal fee is charged for immunizations and lab tests.

All services are confidential.
