Faculty and Staff Resources

Faculty and Staff – we are so thankful to work with a great team here at Concordia University – St. Paul.  Our office is committed to providing students with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in its classes and activities with the continued help and support of faculty and staff.
In order to receive services for disabilities, a student must provide medical or psychological documentation.  After receiving documentation and consulting with the student, Disabilities Services staff determines adjustments that the student requires in order to access University programs. All such decisions are specific to the type and severity of the student's needs and the classes or activities involved. The documentation must clearly support the need for these adjustments. Then our office develops a VISA (Verification of Individualized Accommodations/Services).  Professors should receive this from students or our office early in the semester.  We anticipate then the professor and student will have a discussion regarding accommodations in individual classes.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact our office.
