Together Reaching Unity with The Homeless (TRUTH)

Description: TRUTH (Together Reaching Unity with the Homeless) is a Concordia campus organization that is comprised of members that are dedicated to the education and prevention of homelessness on campus and in the community.
Meeting Time: Varies but usually twice a month
Events: Homeless shelter volunteering; Feed My Starving Children-Package food for third world countries; Lobby Day at the State Capitol; Martin Luther King Service at Dorthy Day; Card Board Box City- sleep a night in the lives the homeless; A Day in the Life which partners with St. Stephen's Human Rights Program staff to talk to people who have in the past or are currently experiencing homelessness in the environments that they were or are now living in; National Homeless Awareness Week activities Nov. 15-21
