College Republicans

Description: The Minnesota College Republicans (MNCR) have built a strong reputation by working hard on campuses to build the next generation of conservative leaders in our state. The leaders of the Republican party and their candidates have come to count on MNCRs to get the news about voting around campus and dedicate countless volunteer hours to electing Republican-endorsed candidates. We pride ourselves on being one of the most effective political youth efforts in the country.

Meeting Time: Varies

Events: We watch movies with political topics along with participating in debates and different events at the State capital. With 2008 being an election year there will many events focused on following the progress of the election. With the Republican convention in the Twin Cities, we will be involved in and attending some of those activities too. There will be many opportunities to volunteer for local and national campaigns.
