Admission Ambassadors

Advisor: Kristin Schoon, Director of Undergraduate Admission

Description: The objectives of a Student Ambassador are:

  • to welcome and embrace guests to Concordia University
  • to give guests a prospective of life at Concordia University
  • to develop and build a lasting and meaningful relationship with guests
  • to be a knowledgeable and caring resource for our university

The responsibilities of a Student Ambassador are:

  • to be a positive role model to prospective students as well as the student body at Concordia University
  • to familiarize yourself with the available support and services on campus
  • to assist The Office of Admissions and Marketing in day to day operations
  • to orient guests to services provided at Concordia University such as:
    • Campus organizations/activities        
    • Library/computer help desk
    • Work study                                          
    • Health services
    • Writing center/peer tutoring               
    • Food Services

Meeting Time: Student Ambassador group functions are usually once a week
