Assess Your Values, Interests, Skills, and Personality

Self-assessment is one important step in your career decision-making process. It encourages you to look inward and discover more about yourself. To deepen your self-awareness, explore some or all of the areas below. 

There are five major areas of self-assessment:

Concordia Career Services can help you determine which assessments and inventories would be best for you and your situation. Different tools measure different things and thus, no single assessment can accurately portray your individuality. Consider using several tools rather than one or two, and let your intuition judge the results. Meeting with a Career Counselor to discuss the results will help you get the most out of the assessment process.

If you are undecided about your major, considering taking
SSS150-Career Exploration and Assessment.
Students will complete several assessments to help them better understand themselves as well as reseach possible career choices.
